    MODERN SECONDARY PROGRAM

The Modern Secondary Program (MSP) is an innovative, interdisciplinary learning experience tailored for students in Grades 7 to 10. With an emphasis on research skills and practices, the program fosters students’ conceptual understanding, essential learning skills, and a strong commitment to taking meaningful action.

Connecting Classroom Learning to Global Issues

Through the Research Action Unit, students explore interdisciplinary themes each term. These units challenge them to apply knowledge and skills from various subjects to solve problems in their communities. Learning is framed within a Worldwide Setting, connecting classroom lessons to important local, national, and global issues.

Encouraging Action and Service

The MSP emphasizes the importance of taking action. Students engage in different forms of action to positively impact their communities and the world around them. Each term concludes with a Community Action Project, where students plan and initiate a project to address a community issue identified through their research.
